  • Notes 

    • Horace was the first son of Horace and Amy Searle Constable. They were living at 59 Peterborough Road, Fulham, London when his was born. He attended schools in the Battersea area.

      The family immigrated and they arrived in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada in 1900. They were on a steam ship as he remembered the sound when they would blast out the steam . He would become afraid and hold his brother, Arthur's hand. It was a long journey. They spent the first night in the hotel at Norton , New Brunswick, Canada before continuing to Moncton by train.

      Horace married Hazel Crossman and they lived at 49 Waterloo Street, Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada where their nine children were born. He worked for 48 years for Canadian National Railways, retiring as General Foreman of CNR Shops. They owned a Cottage at Cocagne, New Brunswick, Canada for 32 years. They had the first pleasure sailboat on Cocagne Bay, "the Helen", built with the help of Armand Goguen's father.
