"On Saturday we left for Strathroy in what clothes we could gather. Mom (Cordelia Harman nee Tellier), Fred, Elsie (age 5 months) and I, Aunt Vina and her three boys."

Obituary (note Harmon should be spelled Harman below):
Mrs. George Harmon
The death occurred in the Englehart and District Hospital, Saturday, October 19 of Mrs. George Harmon in her 67 year. Born near Strathroy, she came to Northern Ontario in 1902 and was married to George Harmon in 1909. She was the former Cordelia Tellier, and is survived by three sons, Floyd, of Englehart, Fred of New Liskeard and Sidney of Timmins, two daughters, Mrs. Archie Simpkins of Dack Township and Mrs. Harvey Elyea, Englehart and 20 grandchildren. Her eldest brother was killed in action in Belgium in the First World War. She is also survived by her brother Sam of Holland Landing, Ferdena of Englehart and four sisters, Mrs. Alex Barton, Buffalo, Mrs. Wm. Saunders, Ridgeville, Mrs. Ed. George, Schumacher and Mrs. Edwin Chamberlain of Seaman, Sask. and her step-mother, Mrs. Margaret Tellier of Welland. Services was held in the Englehart Baptist Church on Monday, October 21, with Rev. W. Fisher officiating and Mr. Kirkum of Kirkland Lake assisting. Buriel was in the Englehart Cemetery in the family plot. The pallbearers were six nephews, James, John, George, Stephen and Glen Harmon and Donald Elyea.

Many beautiful floral tributes were received by the family in mute sympathy at a loved one's passing.
